Fricciones Universales S.A. (FU) operates taking the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 standard as reference, which have been supplemented with guidelines for improving established in the ISO 9000 international standard. The principles and the vocabulary set forth in ISO 9004:2000 are considered as well.

Every member of the company is committed to developing the maintenance and improvement process of the Quality Management System (SGC), which also represents the commitment of the Management to Quality.

FU has designed a SGC to continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization. For that purpose, the Management takes into account the eight quality management principles set forth in ISO 9004:2000.

  • Approach to the client: FU depends on its clients; this is why we must take care of their needs, meet their requirements, and identify their expectations.
  • Leadership: in all our experience, we have created and preserved an internal environment where our staff is completely involved in achieving the goals of our organization.
  • Staff involvement: our staff is the essence of the company. Their full commitment helps them develop their skills for the benefit of FU.
  • Approach based on processes: we manage all activities and resources available as a process, so that we can achieve the expected results efficiently.
  • Management system approach: we identify, understand, and manage interdependent processes as a system, contributing to the effectiveness and efficiency of our organization in the achievement of our goals.
  • Constant improvement: this is a constant objective.
  • Approach based on facts for decision making: we base our decisions on the analysis of data and on the information available.
  • Mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers: we depend on our suppliers and, therefore, we maintain mutually beneficial relationships with them, with the purpose of increasing our ability to create value. The application of these principles results in benefits for all interested parties, improving profitability, value creation, and stability.

Therefore, we are trying to implement and perfect all mechanisms for the constant improvement of the system and ensure compliance with the client’s requirements.
