- What are the business hours? Are you closed for vacation?
- Our business hours are Mondays to Fridays from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, and we are open all year round.
- Do the compounds contain asbestos?
- All products are asbestos free.
- Does FU only supply Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM)?
- No, it also supplies the Replacement Market (Aftermarket).
- If I live away from the capital city, can I still have access to the products and services offered by FU?
- Of course you can. Once the Order is received, it will be shipped between 24 and 48 hours.
- If I need a special or exceptional part, can it be manufactured?
- FU has a Product Development Department where, using a variety of plans and samples as reference, we can produce the parts requested by the client (Brake Blocks, Pads, Skids, and Drums, among others).
- Does FU have a Quality Assurance System certified by the ISO 9001:2008 standard?
- Yes. The ISO 9001:2008 standard has been certified, and considering the principles and the vocabulary set forth in ISO 9000:2000.
- What is the entity that certifies the ISO 9001 standard in FU??
- TUV Rheinland Group Argentina.
- Does it have any instructions for manufacturing and assembling the products?
- FU has instructions and process sheets according to the specifications in Proceeding P751 ("Production Control and Service Rendering") of ISO 9001:2008.
- Are there any inspections at the reception and during the manufacturing process of materials?
- According to the stipulations of the Control Plan, FU applies an internal control record in which all items to be checked are entered.
- Does it have a training plan for the staff?
- Every year, not only do we evaluate the performance of our staff according to the requirements set forth in the performance evaluation, but they also take special courses to improve their skills.
- How does FU guarantee the correct reception and subsequent shipping of Orders?
- By checking the Orders. The Management, the Quality Department and the Warehouse participate in the check process and the establishment of the available resources. Afterwards, the Business Department provides the client with all the information.
- Can Orders be changed?
- Yes. When a client requests changes to the production or quality requirements, a new assessment will be carried out. It will be considered a new Order, and it will be necessary to perform the feasibility study and the revision of the contracts one more time.
- Does FU evaluate the satisfaction of every customer?
- Always; through annual surveys, and in special cases every two months, that allow us to constantly improve our products and customer service
- Are there any controls at the reception of raw materials and semi-finished products?
- Always. The Warehouse checks that the product received coincides with the Request Order and the Quality Department performs the corresponding size controls.
Quality
Fricciones Universales S.A. (FU) operates taking the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 standard as reference, which have been supplemented with guidelines for improving established in the ISO 9000 international standard. The principles and the vocabulary set forth in ISO 9004:2000 are considered as well.
Every member of the company is committed to developing the maintenance and improvement process of the Quality Management System (SGC), which also represents the commitment of the Management to Quality.
FU has designed a SGC to continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization. For that purpose, the Management takes into account the eight quality management principles set forth in ISO 9004:2000.
- Approach to the client: FU depends on its clients; this is why we must take care of their needs, meet their requirements, and identify their expectations.
- Leadership: in all our experience, we have created and preserved an internal environment where our staff is completely involved in achieving the goals of our organization.
